Challenges
Today’s IT departments are under pressure and need to constantly deliver new infrastructure resources to end users, and a new challenge arises for enterprises: the optimal method to make such resources available on-demand while still maintaining control over IT costs and fulfilling SLAs.
Our Solution
Through the optimization of IT stack resource utilization and through the increased availability and accessibility of infrastructure resources as standardized services, the eCloudManager helps enterprises reduce the TCO of their data centers and fulfill SLAs.
Using the fluidOps eCloudManager, enterprises can make infrastructure resources, such as storage and compute resources, available to internal or external end users on-demand, anywhere, anytime. Using a fully customizable self-service portal, end users can
- access a service catalog set up by the administrator,
- request and provision the resources they need based on the SLAs they require, and
- track and monitor their resource consumption.
The infrastructure layer is completely abstracted from the end user and the systems are deployed (automatically or following an approval) in the optimal environment based on the SLAs specified by the end user.
Once the systems have been deployed, the end user has full control over them: he can start them up, stop them, restart them, suspend them, or delete them.
Your Benefits
The eCloudManager Infrastructure as a Service solution enables enterprises to
- begin or accelerate their transition to a cloud-enabled IT infrastructure,
- reduce costs by decreasing administrative load through provisioning workflow automation,
- dramatically speed up the process of requesting, approving and deploying infrastructure resources, and
- maintain control over resource utilization rates and costs.
