Our Solution
The eCloudManager allows for the isolation of the environments dedicated to certain customers, thus ensuring that systems and applications do not interfere with each other and that confidential data is not leaked. The isolation is achieved using the Virtual Landscape Manager™, a pre-installed Virtual Machine which manages the isolated environment from a networking and application perspective, and controls the structure, properties and outside interactions of the environment. The Virtual Landscape Manager provides services within the isolated environment, including DHCP, DNS, firewall, etc., and it ensures that certain operations, such as adding or removing a VM from a landscape, are handled properly.
Moreover, through its support for advanced access control and through the integration with RSA SecurID®, the eCloudManager guarantees data security by allowing only authorized users to access sensitive information and to perform complex and highly critical data center tasks, e.g. the provisioning of complex application landscapes.
