The advertised job covers the entire support process. You will be responsible for processing and solving general customer inquiries as 2nd and 3rd Level Support Engineer, as well as for handling support requests from one of our largest customers. You will be working in a team providing 24×7 support based on flexible working hours.
Area of Responsibility and Knowledge
- Personal support for 1 to 2 pre-assigned customers, in a small team.
- Customer support via phone, e-mail and chat.
- Direct cooperation with consulting and development.
- Planning and roll-out of software updates at customers’ site.
- Classification, processing and documentation of customer inquiries and solutions.
- Further development of the support process and the design and implementation of a complete support organization.
Professional Requirements and Skills
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English.
- Ability to work independently.
- Teamwork skills, flexibility, enthusiasm and organizational skills.
- Accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in IT support.
Desirable, but not Required
- Knowledge of Enterprise Storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, etc.).
- Experience with server virtualization (e.g. VMware).
- Knowledge of SAP installation / administration.
- Several years of experience in managing a support team.
