Partner Account Manager
Job Description
Identify, recruit and enable channel partners to extend fluidOps’ market presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Establish and execute Partner Business Plans focusing on pipeline and revenue generating activities, such as direct sales calls, cold calling, joint customer visits and marketing events.
Objective
Development of existing and new partners within the Cloud Management Software space.
Responsibilities
- Identify, Recruit, Enable, Develop & Manage channel partners
- Develop joint business plan with partners, including elements such as joint financial sales targets, joint marketing plans and resource requirements / commitments
- Define and execute demand generation activities with and through assigned partners
- Qualify & follow up on leads with assigned partners
- Coach partners in opportunities and stand in for fluidOps at the customer site
- Deal Registration, Pipeline management and Forecasting for assigned partners
Reporting and Other Organizational Relationships
- Reports to Strategic Sales Executive Channel/Distribution
Key Performance Indicators
- Revenue within a given quarter or fiscal year
- Attainment of Pipeline Objectives for assigned partners
- Completion of Business Plan and accurate management of business plan execution
- Developing assigned partners into a source of recurring revenue for fluidOps
Required Skills
- University degree or comparable work experience required
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and develop new channel partners
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new customers
- Proven track record in one or more of the following areas: data center solutions, storage, virtualization
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to represent fluidOps at CxO level and at events
- Used to working in startup organizations and teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated to find a suitable way even when processes are not available
Required Experience
- Minimum five years of experience in IT sales, including direct and indirect sales experience
- Experienced in account management, pipeline management and forecasting
