Job Description
Your area of responsibility comprises the close cooperation with Sales and Marketing to realize all necessary inside sales activities. You will support us throughout the identification of qualified prospects and potential partners, and you will be in charge of setting up customer appointment for the sales team. You will conduct market analysis and you will develop a guide for customer or partner calls. You will cooperate with the sales team to identify and to pursue new opportunities.
The presentation of our solutions via telephone and Internet (online demos), at international fairs all over the world, or, if necessary, at the customers’ site could be one of your tasks. Determinedly but friendly, you will identify the customer contact person, customer information, as well as the customer’s requirements. Moreover, you will be responsible for preparing enquiries, arranging appointments and sending out information material. You will also deal with accruing customer correspondence and with the maintenance of the pipeline and CRM database.
Area of Responsibility and Knowledge
- Expansion and maintenance of existing customer relationships.
- Customer acquisition (telephone, internet & online demos, mailings, etc.).
- Setting up appointments for the sales team.
- Consulting customers in the area of cloud management and semantic data management.
- Processing offers and orders independently.
- Qualifying and following up on offers, mailings, leads and fair contacts.
- Forecasting, updating and maintaining our pipeline and CRM dastabase.
Professional Requirements and Skills
- Technical or IT-oriented study or apprenticeship.
- Advanced technical background in the areas of hardware and/or software and data center architectures.
- Working experience in an IT company, IT market knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, in spoken and written form; French would be an additional advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of MS-Office and Internet.
- Interest in sales activities via telephone.
- Excellent communication skills, welcoming customer contact.
- Independent and service-oriented work attitude.
- Team spirit, commitment, flexibility, and organizational talent.
- Willingness to travel, high quality awareness and personal commitment.
