Job Description
You have several years of relevant working experience in software, solution, service and project sales and have knowledge in the areas of virtualization, storage and data center infrastructure. Due to your excellent market knowledge you are able to present our cloud management products and solutions to our strategic partners and customers. Furthermore, you are able to prove verifiable success in regard to projecting and supporting customers and you are a competent and reliable contact person. Ideally you have a broad network of potential customers, IT distributors or (managed) service providers. You have excellent rhetoric and presentation skills and you are familiar with concept development. Moreover, you can manage projects independently and you know how to assess customer requirements.
Area of Responsibility and Knowledge
- Your area of responsibility comprises the expansion of business relationships with existing customers, as well as the active acquisition of new customers (from medium to large enterprises), or the acquisition of new sales and service partners.
- You are responsible for the results-oriented acquisition of new customers & partners, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, as well as further support.
- You maintain and expand the contact to customers and partners and raise awareness of the complete product and service portfolio.
- You identify and assess new relevant use cases for the customer base.
- Preparation of business plans based on a win-win-scenario for sales and service partners.
- Establishment and maintenance of a network of strategic partners and distributors.
- Forecasting, updating and maintaining our pipeline and CRM system.
Professional Requirements and Skills
- An excellent knowledge in at least three of the following areas: server, storage, virtualization, network and application solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English.
- Good IT market knowledge with a focus on distributors and/or (managed) service providers / system houses.
- Driving license, Class B.
- Willingness to travel, high quality awareness and personal commitment.
- Good manners, excellent social skills and high empathy.
