fluid Operations, Christmann, German manufacturer known for its efficient IT infrastructure technology, and the research group Cognitronics and Sensor Systems as part of the Center of Excellence Cognitive Interaction Technology at Bielefeld University joined forces in a research project.
Within the context of the Central Innovation Program SME (Zentrales Innovationsprogramm Mittelstand – ZIM), a program funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology for small and medium sized enterprises (SME) with business operations in Germany, the partners jointly develop a planning and control system for the provisioning and operation of cloud-based data centers. The partners contribute their hardware and software solutions to the project. The project goal is to develop a Cloud Orchestration Appliance (CORA). |
